Who Facebook Should Be Policing Instead Of Persecuting Believers Like Franklin Graham.

I woke up to a shocking article, stating that Facebook had banned Franklin Graham from using it’s features for 24hours after a 2016 Post about North Carolina’s H.B.2 Law (Bathroom Bill) written by the Hill and other dailies. “Franklin Graham: Facebook ban was ‘personal attack toward me“‘. Truthfully it was very jarring and disconcerting reading the news.

What kind of culture and environment is Facebook trying to foster? Is Facebook trying to develop a fearful, repressive environment where people will be afraid to say the truth?

In the past several months, Facebook has gotten into the disturbing habit of banning and blocking conservatives, christians and believers. This includes believers, groups, pages etc. I left to wonder, with the rate they are going, will the persecution ever relent?

I don’t know who is truly behind the Facebook administration but I think it is time that believers worldwide started praying for righteous change to come to Facebook and it’s administration.

Mr. Franklin Graham has contributed positively to the growth of Facebook with his page which has over 7.4 million worldwide users. In addition he has given Facebook a lot of money by advertising on it’s platforms.

We have seen very hateful and frankly very wicked acts being done on Facebook and not once has Facebook called out these users on their practices.

Everyday millions of Facebook users exchange porngoraphy in guise of nude pictures between unmarried couples and not once has Facebook banned these users or called them out.

Everyday millions of Facebook users call for violent protests in various countries leading to bloodshed, violence, poverty, civil unrest, but Facebook has never called out or banned any of these users.

Everyday millions of Facebook users insult, abuse, post obscenities on various pages, profiles and groups. Quite frankly some of the things people write are very toxic and not healthy at all and yet Facebook has never called out, blocked or banned any of these users.

Everyday millions of Facebook users post deception, lies, myths and innuendos. Not once has Facebook developed a Truth barometer to detect lies from truth or banned these users.

There are thousands of homosexuality promotion pages and groups on Facebook recruiting minors and the under-age to indulge in homosexual sex. Not once has Facebook ever banned or blocked these pages or groups. And yet we have many young people dying and losing their lives in these groups through disease, murder and sickness.

If Facebook wants to become the Army and the Police, as it goes on prosecuting anything it deems hateful and wicked, I think it should start with the various examples above before wasting its scarce resources going after an innocent man like Franklin Graham who is simply leading people to Jesus, freedom and abundant life. Franklin Graham’s page offers motivation, inspiration, healthy materials for growth and development.

To even imagine that a Facebook administrator would even dare to ban and block Franklin Graham with no fear at all, no second thought, no consultation etc is a very disturbing and concerting thought. Where is the world headed to, if believers allow these kind of atrocities to go by without saying a word? Where has the fear of God gone?

In fact it seems like Facebook wants people to live in bondage, fear, repression and captivity.

These are the kind of times that the prophet Isaiah prophesied about. The times when people would call evil-good and good-evil. Indeed we are in the end times and only Jesus can save us from the persecution and pain that the devil and his minions are dishing out to believers and conservatives

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
And prudent in their own sight!
22 Woe to men mighty at drinking wine,
Woe to men valiant for mixing intoxicating drink,
23 Who justify the wicked for a bribe,
And take away justice from the righteous man!
24 Therefore, as the fire devours the stubble,
And the flame consumes the chaff,
So their root will be as rottenness,
And their blossom will ascend like dust;
Because they have rejected the law of the Lord of hosts,
And despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 5:20-24

It’s not Franklin Graham that Facebook is persecuting. It’s not Franklin Graham that Facebook is banning, it’s Jesus Christ they are attacking. Franklin Graham is simply a representative of Jesus Christ.

I can only pray that all the social media giants like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google Plus, Reddit, Pinterest etc repent, change their ways, stops persecuting the followers of Jesus Christ before Jesus visits them and avenges the suffering of his people.

Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 Therefore
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Romans 12:17-21
