Who Jesus Is To Me – Faith In Jesus Christ

Who Jesus Is To Me – Faith In Jesus Christ.

Jesus is my everything. I can’t do this life or the next one without him. I need him more desperately than the air I breathe. I don’t think there are words enough to describe what he means to me or who he is to me. However, I managed to find a few bible verses that paint a rough picture of who Jesus is to me.

Jesus is my maker and husband.

For your Maker is your husband,
The Lord of hosts is His name;
And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel;
He is called the God of the whole earth.
6 For the Lord has called you
Like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit,
Like a youthful wife when you were refused,”
Says your God.

Isaiah 54:5-6

Jesus is my bundle of myrrh and cluster of henna blooms.

A bundle of myrrh is my beloved to me,
That lies all night between my breasts.
14 My beloved is to me a cluster of henna blooms
In the vineyards of En Gedi.

Song of Songs 1:13-14

Jesus is my savior.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

2 Peter 3:18

Jesus is my hope.

1 Timothy 1:1

Jesus is my brother.

For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.”

The Portion of Jacob is not like them,
For He is the Maker of all things,
And Israel is the tribe of His inheritance;
The Lord of hosts is His name.

Jeremiah 10:16

Jesus is my helper.

So we may boldly say:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”

Hebrews 13:6

Jesus is my balm in Gilead and the great physician.

Is there no balm in Gilead,
Is there no physician there?
Why then is there no recovery
For the health of the daughter of my people?

Jeremiah 8:22

Jesus is my example.

For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.

John 13:15

Jesus is my leader.

He will feed His flock like a shepherd;
He will gather the lambs with His arm,
And carry them in His bosom,
And gently lead those who are with young.

Isaiah 40:11

Jesus is my food and drink.

For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.

John 6:55-56

Jesus is my wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption.

But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— 31 that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”

1 Corinthians 1:30-31

Jesus is my refiner and purifier.

He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver;
He will purify the sons of Levi,
And purge them as gold and silver,
That they may offer to the Lord
An offering in righteousness.

Malachi 3:3

Jesus is my servant.

Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.

He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

Jesus is my teacher and Lord.

You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

John 13:13-14

Jesus is my shepherd.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
