I’m writing an article series featuring Contemporary Christian couples in Ministry.
Men and Women Of Vision, Merit, Focus, Purpose, Destiny and Power.
With various controversies surrounding the role of men and women in Christian ministry in our world today, it’s refreshing to listen to and follow the lead of these strong, virtuous married men and women.
Christian couples who have managed to find the balance between their different gender roles to be able to minister and serve the Lord together and impact millions of people across the world.
Christian couples with powerful, life changing ministries and stories who have served the Lord with commitment and singular vision.
I start my series with a couple I have great deference for. Pastor Paul Adefarasin and his beautiful wife Pastor Ifeanyi Adefarasin who lead the House on the Rock Community.
Pastor Paul Adefarasin
Pastor Paul Adefarasin was born January 25th 1963, to Justice Adetunji and Hilda Adefarasin. His Father Adetunji was a renowned Attorney General of the Nigeria Federal High Court. Before he was called to serve God as a Minister he was working as an Architect with Baldwin, Sackman & Carrington Architects in Florida.
He first served as a volunteer Youth Pastor in the United States, before he received his first pastorate at the Action Chapel, London. He also holds a Diploma in Christian Ministry from the International Bible Institute of London.
Pastor Paul Adefarasin is the Senior Pastor and Founder of House On The Rock Church which he founded in 1994 with a dynamic multi-ethnic congregation headquartered in Lekki Lagos, Nigeria with over 60 branches in Europe and Africa.

He is also a Tele-evangelist with a Television programme titled: “Something is about to Happen” that impacts the lives of millions across the world. He is a prolific Author who has written some riveting books.
His ability to teach, preach and minister both simply and philosophically has greatly helped to change and enrich the lives of his congregation.

1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
