Home Is Not Where The Heart Is Found – Home Is Not A Place, Home Is Not A Soul, Home Is A Spirit.

For a long time we have been told and taught that, “Home is where the heart is found is.” Another variation to this idea was the notion that home was a place or a location.  Some place to put our heads when exhausted and tired. Some spot to put our legs at the end of a long day. A refugee away from the cares of life. An area to find peace and to relax.

Yet other people told us home was a soul. And the idea and philosophical school of thought on soulmates especially philosophized by Plato and his friend Aristophanes was popularized by literature. We started thinking that home was a  soulmate. We therefore started searching for soul mates. In the hope that when we finally found our soulmate, we could finally find home and thus belonging and understanding.

But home is not a heart, it is not a mind, it is not a soul or a body.

Home Is A Spirit.

And the spirit is so strong that you don’t have to be in the same location with another person to feel the electromagnetic waves and forces of it’s might and work in action.

The spirit is able to find another individual anywhere in this world. You cannot hide from the spirit.

I mean are there no couples who share the same house, sleep in the same bed, but are strangers? Couples who speak to themselves daily but they can not understand themselves or are unable to communicate?

Of course this kind of disequilibrium often leads to unhappy homes full of chaos and confusion because there is often misunderstanding and a lack of communication.

And in some instances these differences lead to cheating and unfaithfulness even when the said couple share three meals a day and sleep together at night.

Because while their bodies maybe in the same place, their spirits are communing with another spirit.

However in the same vein, we have couples, physically away from each other for various reasons but with the most beautiful kind of connections because their spirits commune with each other.

Believers in Jesus Christ of Nazareth have the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is home for believers in Jesus. He is everything we need. When you have the Holy spirit, there is nothing you can lack. The Holy Spirit brings peace, self-control, joy, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, forbearance, meekness and love.

The Holy Spirit is the one who keep’s believer couples glued together for life. The Holy Spirit is the one who helps couples manage to overcome the various storms of life together as part of a team. Without the Holy Spirit holding families and relationships together, they invariably crumble.

What the Apostle Paul greatly summarizes in Galatians as the Fruit of the Spirit:

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, we must also follow the Spirit. 26 We must not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Galatians 5:22-26

On the other side of the divide, the same way we have the Holy Spirit, we also have evil spirits.

Evil spirits keep occult couples and unions together. It sounds unbelievable but it is what it is.

There are two Kingdoms in the spiritual. The Kingdom of light and the the Kingdom of darkness.

There are occult couples who stay together for life. They too are able to communicate in the spirit. How? Through evil spirits who are a counterfeit to the Holy Spirit.

I understand this leaves a third category of individuals. These are the people who are blind or asleep.

What side do they belong?

Well, that is why there is a raging war and battle in the spiritual.

It is to determine where these individuals will end up.

In the Kingdom of light or in the Kingdom of darkness.

God’s Love Is A Holistic Covering Over Your Heart, Body, Soul, Spirit And Mind.

Below are awesome bible scriptures to remind you that God’s love is a great covering over our whole being.

God doesn’t love just one part of you. He loves everything about you. You are precious and deeply cherished.

So, anytime you are going through a difficult patch in life or you are feeling unloved, just remember God loves all of you, all the time and for ever.

God’s love over your Heart:

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

John 14:27

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

John 16:33

God’s love over your Body:

And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said,

Take, eat; this is my body. 27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying,

Drink ye all of it; 28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Matthew 26:26-28

God’s love over your Soul:

Rest in God alone, my soul, for my hope comes from Him.
6 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I will not be shaken.

Psalms 62:5-6

God’s love over your Spirit:

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

John 6:63

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

John 14:26

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Romans 8:14

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control.

Galatians 5:22-23

God’s love over your Mind:

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.

Isaiah 26:3

“And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. 30 For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things.

Luke 12:29-30

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7

God’s love over our Soul, Spirit, Body, Mind and Heart:

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Hebrews 4:12

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely. And may your spirit, soul, and body be kept sound and blameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:23

Redefining and Classifying Love – Types of Love – Exploring Love In The New Age

Redefining and Classifying Love - Types of Love - Exploring Love In The New Age Blog Post Banner Image

Redefining and Classifying Love – Types of Love – Exploring Love In The New Age.

Over the years, I have heard love classified a variety of ways.

The most common psychology classification is the one in which love is grouped into seven categories.

I didn’t really believe any of those classifications as they didn’t make sense to me but for a few weeks now, a particular Bible passage has been niggling at the back of my mind.

“Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.”

Matthew 24:12

And it’s on the basis of that passage that I have come up with my own rendition on the classification and types of love.

  1. Hot Love
  2. Cold Love

  3. Lukewarm Love

Let’s consider these three types of love further:

Love type number 3:

Lukewarm Love:

I like to think of this as the worst kind of love. People with lukewarm love are the one’s who are neither here or there. They have no idea what they want. They are indecisive and wishy washy. When I consider it, I think it consists of lying and false lures.

Revelations has this to say further on Lukewarm Love.

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

Revelation 3:15-16

Love type number 2:

Cold Love:

This is love with no passion, ardor or fire. It consists of people who are insensitive, unfeeling and have buried their emotions.

In Matthew 24:12, Jesus is not saying people will not be able to love. They will love, except that their love will be cold.

Love type number 1:

Hot Love:

This is the best kind of love. Jesus wants us burning hot with desire and passion for him, the gospel and other people. Hot love is heavenly, holy, and from the heart. It pushes us beyond our bounds to give our all. It changes people and situations.

Hot Love Liberates, Cold Love Numbs and Lukewarm Love Destroys.

I pray we can all have hot love and burn with passion for Jesus. Let us not allow our love to die.

It Is Okay To Be Romantic – Romance Was Created By God And Not By The Devil

It Is Okay To Be Romantic – Romance Was Created By God And Not By The Devil.

Jesus is the greatest romantic of all time. I therefore don’t understand believers who want to separate romance from love. There is nothing evil, wicked, weak and dark about romance.

It’s time we stopped giving the devil platitudes he has never earned.

Which devil has ever created true and genuine romance?
Of course the devil is always in the business of duplicates to dilute the original but it doesn’t take away from the true source.

People let’s be realistic and lets stop cheating God by giving away all his glory.

God created romance. Not the devil.
Forget Saint valentine and what the world, marketer’s and secularists preach and peddle.
Jesus’s romantic skills begin way back in Genesis, even before Man comes on the scene.

Look at the earth. The romance of flower petals and their fragrance. The romantic sounds streams and springs make as they flow by. The romantic whistling of birds chirping in the morning. The feel of a new born baby as you carry them. Our world is filled with romantic gestures created by God. If only we could open our eyes to appreciate his handiwork.

How do people think God continually expresses his love for us?
The evidence of his romantic displays are everywhere but clearly some people lack the ability to see and sense these displays. It is the only way we can explain the muteness, blindness and total lack of feeling to the splendor and magnificence of God’s romantic displays.

I pray that the Lord will open the eyes of the blind so that they can marvel and gaze at his romantic spendor.

Love goes hand in hand with romance. However, I personally believe that love comes before romance but they certainly flow together once they mesh. Not separately.

Now, countless times I have been accused of being sappy and emotional and an incurable romantic.

I used to shun the title, because I wanted to join the club of the unfeeling, insensitive and hard people.

However, one day, the Lord Jesus gently reminded me why he created me as a human being with all the dimensions possessed by humans including an emotional dimensional and not a Nephilim hybrid lacking some human components.

Anyhow, now I wear my incurable romantic label like a badge. I’m glad I can sense and feel deeply. The challenge is not my depth. The challenge is people’s superficiality.

Let’s be serious. A man who can beautifully, descriptively, delicately, creatively and poetically describe how he wants something as unromantic as lamp stands to be designed for him to be labelled unromantic is beyond me. Just beyond me!

Reading the scripture below, we can all certainly pick a leaf from the master romantic on how to be romantic.

33 Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms are to be on one branch, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand.
34 And on the lampstand there are to be four cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms.
35 One bud shall be under the first pair of branches extending from the lampstand, a second bud under the second pair, and a third bud under the third pair—six branches in all.
36 The buds and branches shall all be of one piece with the lampstand, hammered out of pure gold.

Exodus 25:33-36

Love Disciplines And Rebukes – Exploring Love In The New Age

Love Disciplines And Rebukes – Exploring Love In The New Age.

I often hear people saying that we shouldn’t talk about hell because it will make people fearful and lead them away from God.

Apparently we should only talk about God’s unfailing and abundant love but we should sweep his wrath under the carpet.

Yes, I also once thought that way. But not anymore.

The same God who was pleased seeing his own innocent son suffer on the cross because he had taken the whole sin of the world and offered himself as a sacrifice?

“Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.”

Isaiah 53:9-10

That same God who couldn’t spare his only begotten son will spare you with your conscious and deliberate refusal of his gift of love and salvation?

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Matthew 27:46

People should really stop fooling themselves.

We mortals have really taken God for granted but the day he decides enough is enough, I can’t fathom what will happen to this earth.

And he made his grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death;
because he had done no violence,
neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Matthew 27:46

God’s love rebukes and disciplines. This discipline is for our own good. He corrects us because he wants us to be better. It’s a show of his love.

“As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be committed and repent. 20 Listen! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and have dinner with him, and he with Me.”

Revelation 3:19-20

Discipline and rebuke is not hateful like New age and secular media would like us to believe. Unfortunately, If we remain indisciplined and refuse to change, God will send us to hell.

I urge you brethren, if you have any sin in your life, please confess it to God, ask him to forgive you and to cleanse you with his precious blood. Repent and ask Jesus for his Holy Spirit to guide you and lead you.

Let us no take God’s love, his mercy, his compassion and his kindness for granted.

Do Unlike Poles Attract And Stay That Way In Relationships And Marriage – Exploring Love In The New Age.

In dating, relationships and marriage, new age says, unlike poles attract and stay that way.
Sound’s nice at first but on deeper introspection it misses a number of principles.

Before marriage, unlike poles attract, kind of like Physics principles. Magnetism and magnetic pole attraction.

Ying-Yang as the Chinese say.
Humans tend to look for people who can give them what they are lacking.
Why else would someone go searching for what they already have most will argue.
It’s also the complimentary principle.
I give you what you lack and you give me what I lack.

If say person A has lot’s of patience, he will seek person B without patience so he can share. If person B lacks joy, they will go looking for a person full of joy to fill them etc.

That is before marriage.
Lock and Key!

After marriage though, unlike poles start to repel.
See, for any long term venture, you need common ground or glue to keep things going!
Because if you lack the glue to go in the same direction, you both start drifting apart.
I guess this is where the famous Bible scripture of two becoming one comes in.

This is why a man leaves his father and mother and bonds with his wife, and they become one flesh.

Genesis 2:24

This is why a man leaves his father and mother and bonds with his wife, and they become one flesh. Genesis 2_24 Bible Verse Instagram Post

Could this phenomenon of people looking for those who are opposite to them also explain the increasing the levels of divorce, separation, mariticide and uxoricide?

If you don’t have enough similarities to be one, then you are headed for chaos especially if you have totally different outlooks on life.
I mean after the differences are filled, there will be nothing left anymore.
Indeed this is where the Biblical question comes in:

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?

16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will live with them
and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they will be my people.”

17 Therefore,
“Come out from them
and be separate,
says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you.”

18 And,
“I will be a Father to you,
and you will be my sons and daughters,
says the Lord Almighty.”
