The Two Sides Of The Coin – Poem.

There are two sides to the coin.
There are:

Two Races

Two Tribes
Two Names
Two Nations
Two Leaders
Two Countries
Two Kingdoms
Two Ethnicities this world.
There is no sitting on the fence in this age.

The Age of Glory and The Age of Scorn
The Clan of Victory and The Clan of Defeat
The Name of Jesus and The Name of Lucifer
The Empire of Pride and The Empire of Humility
The Location of Heaven and The Location of Hell
The Country of light and The Country of Darkness
The Language of Blessings and The Language of Curses
The Tribe of Divinity and The Tribe of Damnation
The Ethnicity of Christ and The Ethnicity of Belial
The Kingdom of God and The Kingdom of Satan
The Religion of Faith and The Religion of Fear
The Place of Power and The Place of Ego
The Race of Love and The Race of Hate

So, which side do you belong to?

I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; 20 that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”

Bible Verse:

For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.

Praise To My King Yeshua – Poem.

Jesus is Lord
Praise to my King Yeshua
Hallelujah to his name
Blessed be his name
Jesus, I magnify your name
I sing Hosanna
You have done the impossible
You have done the unexpected
You have done the unimaginable
You are worthy to be praised and exalted
I lift your name on high
Be glorified Papa
Be magnified, Jesus
Lifted up and exalted
Who is like you Abba?
No one
Thank you Yeshua.

Bible Verse:

Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:“Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’Hosanna in the highest!”

I’m Here Just Incase – Poem.

Your eyes are so sad
And your smile doesn’t reach your eyes
You are searching
And looking
And asking
And there is a deep void inside you
That no one seems able to fill at the moment
I hope you are alright
And I wish I could give you joy
And make your eyes come alive and sparkle
But I also understand that it’s only Jesus who can give Joy!
A deep abiding and abundant Joy
However,  I’m here
Incase you need a friend
And you need a listening ear
And caring hands
.
I’m here
To listen to your stories
And to give you a shoulder to cry on
And a hand to hold
.
I’m here
To make you smile
And to make you understand that you matter
And you are worth it
And you mean so much to me
I’m here
To To make you see
That you light up the world
In your own unique and brilliant way
I’m here
To To let you know
That you were created for great things
That you have royalty running through your veins
.
I’m here
To beg you
Not to settle
Don’t settle for less
Reach for the Heavens
Reach for Jesus
Reach for Abba
Reach for Salvation
Extend your hand towards Yeshua
He is ever ready and willing to hold you and me,
Well, I’m here to support you and help you
So that we can both hold him together

Bible Verse:

But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. 30 When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice 31 (for the Lord your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.

I Miss You Terribly – Poem.

I woke up to thoughts of you.
You have awakened in me a love and feelings I didn’t know I had.
I have my doubts about you and yet I can’t stay away.
You pull and push and yet here I’m.
Right now, pushed away again and the door locked and I don’t know how to open it or how to reach you.
I miss you terribly.
So terribly.
I have so much to say to you.
I wish I could walk to you. I wish I could run to you.
I wish I could fly to you.
But the forces won’t allow it.
They won’t allow it for now.
And so, as I battle with these feelings and my soul cries out for you I’m reminded of Zechariah’s words in 4:6.
Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.
It’s a tough waiting spell.
And it requires patience only the Holy Spirit can give.
I trust the Lord Yeshua.
Because his word is sure.
His promises are YES and Amen.
I know Jesus is working for my good.
He is working for our good.
He will bring us back together again.
The same way he brought us together the first time.
And till we meet again, I want to let you know that I love you and I always have.

I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry.
2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay,

Music Made By Kings – Poem.

I love music!
Music is a language to me
It’s a language that speaks to my bits and pieces
It speaks to crevices in my soul
And shards of my mind
It speaks to the scars on my body
And the unknown planes in my spirit
When I hear the right music.
And yes, there is a right kind of music.
Not all music will do for this soul.
I go through transformation
I go through renewal and healing
Of late, I started listening to a new kind of Song
A song made by Kings!
The Psalms & Songs of Songs.
Songs of victory, faith, hope and love.
And what a swell time I’m having
By listening to Music

Bible Verse:

Then David and all Israel played music before God with all their might, with singing, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on cymbals, and with trumpets.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Whispers – Poem.

The whispers keep ringing in my head
With a garble that is quite hard to explain
They keep me seeking and searching
Because I need to know where they originate
Whispers with such vibrancy
Who knows where they really come from?
Some say from no where
Perhaps that’s why I can’t find where they come from
However hard I search
Sometimes though,
When I listen hard enough,
They sound like a reflection of our lifetimes
As soft as they may seem to sound,
As hard as they seem to reflect us
And whether you can hear them or not,
Yet, will they always be around
The whispers keep getting louder in my ears
They are so hard to ignore now
They are not afraid to heard loudly anymore
Now, instead of being shy,
They are not afraid to speak up
They are not afraid to be heard loud and clear
Now, the whispers demand to be acknowledged
And it’s up to you, to listen or ignore
As softly as they may give your ears a tickle
As hard as they will manifest in your life
And if you don’t pay heed,
The wind will carry them away gently
But they won’t be gone forever
They will find a way to come back
Bigger! Louder! More ominous!
But don’t fret
They are just Whispers!
or
Maybe Not

Bible Verse:

He stretches out the north over empty space;
He hangs the earth on nothing.
8 He binds up the water in His thick clouds,
Yet the clouds are not broken under it.
9 He covers the face of His throne,
And spreads His cloud over it.
10 He drew a circular horizon on the face of the waters,
At the boundary of light and darkness.
11 The pillars of heaven tremble,
And are astonished at His rebuke.
12 He stirs up the sea with His power,
And by His understanding He breaks up the storm.
13 By His Spirit He adorned the heavens;
His hand pierced the fleeing serpent.
14 Indeed these are the mere edges of His ways,
And how small a whisper we hear of Him!
But the thunder of His power who can understand?”

Mustard Seed – Poem.

The master said,
All you need
Is Faith.
Yes!
It doesn’t have to be a hill
It doesn’t have to be a forest
It doesn’t have to be a garden
It doesn’t have to be an ocean
It doesn’t have to be mountain
It doesn’t have to be gigantic
It doesn’t have to be spectacular
It doesn’t have to be picturesque
No!
Just the size of a seed
And not a big seed either
Just the size of a mustard seed
Yes!
That’s all the Faith you need
As tiny as a mustard seed

Bible Verse:

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Look Inside – Poem.

First you think the issue is your family
Then you realize there is nothing wrong with your Family
Next you think the issue is your friends
Then you realize there is nothing wrong with your Friends
Next you think the issue is your neighbors
Then you realize there is nothing wrong with your Neighbors
Next you think the issue is your workmates
Then you realize there is nothing wrong with your Workmates
Next you think the issue is strangers
Then you realize there is nothing wrong with the Strangers
Next you think the issue is Nature
Then you realize there is nothing wrong with Nature
Next you think the issue is the government
Then you realize there is nothing wrong with the Government
Next you think the issue is the whole Universe
Then you realize there is nothing wrong with the Universe
You blame everyone and everything
You critique everyone and everything
You point a finger at everyone and everything
As time passes, you finally decide to look inside
And Lo and behold!
The painful truth starts to dawn
You are the Issue
There is so much wrong inside you
And you need to change
before everyone and everything around
you starts to change!
If you want to change anything, start with YOU!
Look inside!

Bible Verse:

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence.
26 Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also.
27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.
28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

Matthew 23:25-28

My Prayer:

Lord, every time I feel like looking at Outside circumstances and people to Validate or Justify my own actions,
please remind me and help me to Look Inside.
Jesus help me to constantly live in you and hence to live in righteousness so that my inside is Holy and pleasing to you.
In Jesus’s name, Amen!

Pain – Poem.

No one escapes it
It shakes every soul
You catch glimpses of it
In soiled pillows,
Rainy faces,
Burrowed lines,
Downcast eyes,
Scowls in place of smiles,
Heaving shoulders,
Gasping breaths,
Lost tempers,
Whining lips,
Complaining voices,
But sometimes
It’s so hidden
You will not catch it
Because it will be buried
In places eyes can’t see
And there it will
Crush the soul
Blows so fatal
Insides start to
Die and decay
Little slices of life
Chopped off like pieces of wood
In such gruesome moments
When the pain is unbearable
And your world seems lost
It’s easy to forget
The purpose of pain
The purpose to push
Out of comfort zones
The purpose to teach
Deeper truths
The purpose to re-ignite
Burning embers
The purpose to rebirth
Buried pieces of you

Bible Verse:

If only my request would be granted
and God would provide what I hope for:
9 that He would decide to crush me,
to unleash His power and cut me off!
10 It would still bring me comfort,
and I would leap for joy in unrelenting pain
that I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

Job 6:8-10

On The Floor – Poem.

She is on the floor
Doubled over
Her body going through spasms
Not of pleasure but of pain
She is wailing
But you wouldn’t be able to tell
See, she doesn’t make a sound,
But if you take time to watch closely enough
You will know she is breaking
And if you keep watching long enough
You will finally see the pain kill her
Suffocating the breath and life
Out of her body until she becomes
Just another dead soul walking around
And if you keep watching long enough
You will see a man
A man who knows about broken people
A man who knows about dead souls walking around
You will see this man come to her
You will see this man hold her hand and raise her from the dead
You will see this man put her broken pieces back together
And if you keep watching long enough
You may even find out the man’s name.
Jesus!

Bible Verse:

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
3 To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

A No And A Yes – Poem.

For somethings,
No can’t be turned to Yes
Not only because of their
Letter differences
But also their meaning
When one says no,
They do not mean yes
When one says yes
They do not mean no
But can a no become a yes?
If so,
How would it happen?
When would it happen?
Who would make it happen?
What would make it happen?

Bible Verse:

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God,
22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

Beauty In A Cross – Poem.

You want beauty.
At least that’s what you say.
That you are looking for beauty.
You ask me what beauty is.
I don’t tell you
About delicate dandelions
Or exquisite daisies
Or feathery petals
That used to be beauty
But not anymore
Now, beauty is
A cross
A wretched piece of wood
On a hill far,  far away.
A hill called Golgotha
A cross my saviour was nailed on
That’s beauty to me
A piece of wood

Bible Verse:

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing,
but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
19 For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

What Age Is It – Poem.

What age are we living in today?

With no love

With no peace

With no joy

With no patience

With no loyalty

With no gentleness

With no faithfulness

With no self-control

With no generosity

With no charity

With no Humility

All we care about is ourselves

Our name

Our desires

Our wants

Our needs

Me! Me! Me!

What about others?

What about our neighbors?

So many unanswered questions

Why?

Are we afraid?

Afraid of what we shall find

If we take a moment

To look inside?

Afraid of the decay

Found in ourselves?

A signal for change?

I wish we could do better

Give a hand

Give help

Give support

Give encouragement

Give Inspiration

Make tomorrow better

For us and our neighbors

But, that’s just me amusing

I slowly realize that it’s only God

Who can make it all better

But my question still stands

What age is it?

Bible Verse:

“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.

Sand And Rock – Poem

Sand And Rock – Poem.

Shifting sands
And shaky foundations.
Solid rocks
And stable foundations.
Hope!
Believing for good
Believing for better
Believing for best
I ask now,
Where is your hope placed?
Sands or Rock?

Bible Verse:

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

Matthew 7:24-27

There Is Hope – Poem

There Is Hope – Poem.

A dove!
Flying out of an old! Old Ark!
Searching the lands filled
With water after great floods
Flying into an old! Old Ark!
A branch in it’s beak!
Telling us, the floods are over!
Telling us of new life!
A signal  of Hope!
Yes!
Hope for redemption.
Hope for better.
Hope for new.
Hope for restoration.
Hope for prosperity.

Bible Verse:

Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground.
9 But the dove could find nowhere to perch because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark.
10 He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark.
11 When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf!
Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.

Dust To Glass To Dust – Poem

Dust To Glass To Dust – Poem.

You thought you would escape the dust.
You denied it’s sacredness.
You refused my utterances.
You thought dust was only:
The black soil you till crops.
The gray soil along the river beds.
The brown soil on the side walks.
You forgot!
Oh yes it is a common human trait!
To forget!
Thus, you tried to run away from the dust.
But you can’t run away from the dust.
Just like you can’t run away from yourself.
Don’t you see the dust?
It’s all around you.
Cleaning and wiping won’t make it disappear.
It’s in the glass!
Your drinking cup, the plate, the wine goblet.
Look at window panes and sky scrappers.
Tranparent, brittle, solid, majestic pieces of material.
Don’t be deceived!
Glass is just sand burned to high temperatures.
Glass may not be as particulate as ash but it’s all dust.
Sand, soil, glass, ash!
It’s all dust
It’s in the brick walls and tiles.
The silica and limestone.
It’s on the cement floors you step on.
It’s on your counter tops.
The marbles and granite.
You can’t run away from the Dust.
It’s all around you.
The earlier you accept it, the better.
For,
From dust you came!
From dust you feed!
From dust you heal!
From dust you live!
And
To dust you shall return.
To dust you shall rest.
To dust you shall hide.
To dust you shall become.
Take care of the dust! It’s sacred.

Bible Verse:

When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.” “Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”

Exodus: 3.4-5

The Cactus – Poem

The Cactus - Poem Blog Post Banner Image

The Cactus – Poem.

The Cactus has secrets
How can it not?
Flourishing in sunbaked deserts
Blossoming in desiccate lands
Yielding succulent fruit while the rest wither in scorched bitterness.
Green! Fresh! Alive!
It begs to be tasted.
In a wilderness of nothingness,
Ever wondered how it survives?
Forget the prickles and spikes.
Those are to deter invaders.
The unconscious wanderers.
Protecting the source from those who touch it without enlightenment.
However, approach it with the wisdom of sages and in time you will find out it’s secrets.
Despite it’s color and appendages, there is really no difference between you and the cactus.
Follow it’s spines with clarity
Searching to know and not devour
And you will soon know its secret source
Water!
It’s that simple really, the secret is
Not as complicated as you imagined.
The Cactus is like truth.
Stingy, rare, uncommon but necessary.
The cactus is a signal and source of
Life in the midst of arid plains.
The truth is water!
Drink it!

Bible Verse:

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.
32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
33 They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?”
34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.
35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever.
36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Mother And Son – Poem

Mother And Son - Poem Infographic Image

Again?
Mother this is getting too much
I told you
I don’t like milk anymore
I want something new
I want a new diet
Something a little more challenging
Something like millet bread
Mother, don’t you see?
I’m now a man!
Don’t you see?
I can do as I want now.
Mother, please!
Stop treating me like a child.
Again?
Son, don’t be so quick to speak this way
You now talk of change
You say you don’t like milk anymore
You say you want millet bread instead
You say you want a little more challenge
You say you are now a man!
But my son,
I hope you don’t forget that you are still my son
You can do what you want to do,
But everything is not beneficial to you
Somethings, require wisdom
So, go slow in these new desires
And it’s true that you are not a child anymore
But you will always be my son.

Bible Verse:

“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

Exodus 20:12

Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you - Exodus 20_12 Bible Verse Social Media Square Image

Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul,
Like a weaned child with his mother;
Like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3 O Israel, hope in the Lord
From this time forth and forever.
