A Letter Of Faith – Jack Phillips.

Dear Jack Phillips,

It is because of people like you that our Faith is encouraged, fortified and strengthened.
It is because of strong pillars and fighters for Jesus, the Bible and righteousness, that hope billows in our hearts.
It is because of godly and upright people like you that love flows into our hearts.
It is your bravery, courage and boldness that spurs us on to the run the race and fight the good fight of faith.
Thank you so much for standing tall and fighting the good fight of faith.
Thank you for choosing Jesus above all else.
I pray Jesus Christ blesses you exceedingly, abundantly, above anything you can ever imagine.

June 4th 2018, seven out of nine Justices of the supreme court of the USA ruled in favor of Jack Phillips, a Baker from Colorado who refused to bake a cake for a gay couple because it was in contradiction to his beliefs.

I want to thank the nine Justices for making a wise and godly decision. For allowing their conscience to rule despite the pressures and popular trends. I pray Jesus blesses them abundantly for their decision in this highly controversial matter.

With increased persecution of believers in Jesus across the world, reading the supreme court ruling is a great victory for the Church of Jesus Christ.

The Bible says, that nothing can overcome the Church of Jesus. This victory clearly shows how Jesus fought for his Church and bride against the wiles of the enemy.

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Matthew 16:18-19

When the humanists, secularists, devil worshippers took the Church to court, they lost.
Justice belongs to Jesus. Justice does not belong to the devil.

To lawyer Kristen Waggoner of the conservative Christian group: Alliance Defending Freedom and her team who represented Jack Phillips. Well done. Excellent job. Let Jesus bless your careers, give you more wisdom and knowledge of the Law. The Church needs more lawyers of your caliber.

I also want to thank the Christian protestors who took their placards and stood outside the court building to show their support for Jack Phillips and what he stands for.
Let Jesus mightily bless you for the love and unity you showed to Jack Phillips.

To those who prayed and fasted for Jack Philips and the Church of Jesus, thank you very much. Let the head of the church who is Christ Jesus mightily strengthen your faith and increase you.

In these perilous times, it’s comforting to see the Church unite for a common cause.

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Ephesians 4:11-13

We have no doubt that you Jack Phillips are a true son of the most high God Jesus Christ. We thank Jesus Christ for your life and your testimony.

Jesus bless you.

Appreciating Our Teachers And The Great Work They Do.

So, this week, is Teacher Appreciation Week in the United States.

The National Parent Teacher Association (NPTA) which is running the event had this to say:

“Teachers provide so much to our students—inspiration, motivation and, ultimately, their futures. From May 7-11, 2018, we would like to show our thanks and gratitude by treating them like a V.I.T. – VERY IMPORTANT TEACHER.”

Twitter is supporting the campaign by running the Hashtags: #ThankATeacher and #TeacherAppreciationWeek where users are encouraged to post on their student- teacher experiences and share photos, messages and videos, praising and thanking teachers.

Google has also shown it’s support by designing their doodle in accordance with the theme of Teacher appreciation.

I believe Jesus Christ is the greatest Rabbi or the greatest Teacher.

“Rabbi,” Nathanael replied, “You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”
John 1:49

Below are some awesome tweets celebrating teachers and the great work they do.

Holy Bible Today tweets on Jesus and what he teaches. I can totally relate with this as Jesus and the Holy Spirit all this and more.

Bill Gates the Principal founder of Microsoft and one of the richest men in the world shows appreciation to his teacher Blanche Caffiere with this beautiful throw back black and white photo.

This illustration shared by Julie Woodard is informative, colorful and creative.

It is very interesting some of the things we remember about our experiences growing up. Cameron Kasky the founder of #MarchForOurLives has this thoughtful memory of his teacher.

Whoever Sows Bountifully Will Also Reap Bountifully – Reaping Bible Verses.

As Christian believers, sometimes it can feel like the work we are doing is futile. Sometimes it may feel like it is not worth it to keep obeying God. To stay in ministry. To keep living a righteous and godly life. To keep doing good. To keep forgiving despite the hurt. To keep praying even when God feels silent. To keep praising and worshipping God even when we are dry.

When everything is against you, it maybe easy to fall in the trap of giving up. Forgetting the faithfulness of God. Forgetting his promises of faithfulness to us. Our God is a God who rewards obedience and faithfulness. It pleases him immensely when we live righteous lives.

So, if you feel like giving up your faith because of hardships in your life, spiritual attacks on your life or any other reason, the Bible verses below are for you. The scriptures we have collected are filled with the promises of God as a reminder to keep running the race of faith.

They are an encouragement to keep our eyes on the prize and reward. Please don’t give up your faith. Please keep holding on because it matters. You might not see the fruits of your work and obedience right now but I want to motivate and let you know that in due time, you will reap. Our God is a covenant keeping God. Our God is a faithful God. Keep on! Don’t dare give up for any reason.

Mankind will say, “Surely there is a reward for the righteous; surely there is a God who judges on earth.”

Psalms 58:11

Behold, the Lord God comes with might, and his arm rules for him; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.
11 He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.

Isaiah 40:10-11

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Psalm 23:5

For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

Isaiah 55:10-11

You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance.

Psalm 65:11

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Galatians 6:9

How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you.

Psalm 31:19

The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food in due season.

Psalm 145:15

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

Psalm 1:1-6

Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.

Genesis 28:15

Yet he did not leave himself without witness, for he did good by giving you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness.

And you may eat it in any place, you and your households, for it is your reward in return for your service in the tent of meeting.

Numbers 18:31

The Lord repay you for what you have done, and a full reward be given you by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge!”

Ruth 2:12

For if a man finds his enemy, will he let him go away safe? So may the Lord reward you with good for what you have done to me this day.

1 Samuel 24:19

The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey
and drippings of the honeycomb. 11 Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

Psalms 19:9-11

May this be the reward of my accusers from the LORD, of those who speak evil against my life! 21 But you, O GOD my Lord, deal on my behalf for your name’s sake; because your steadfast love is good, deliver me!

Psalms 109:20-21

Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. 4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. 5 Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.

Psalms 127:3-5

The wicked earns deceptive wages, but one who sows righteousness gets a sure reward.
19 Whoever is steadfast in righteousness will live, but he who pursues evil will die.

Thus says the Lord: “Keep your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears, for there is a reward for your work, declares the Lord, and they shall come back from the land of the enemy. 17 There is hope for your future, declares the Lord, and your children shall come back to their own country.

Jeremiah 31:16-17

For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward, but if not of my own will, I am still entrusted with a stewardship. 18 What then is my reward? That in my preaching I may present the gospel free of charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.

1 Corinthians 9:17-18

But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Matthew 6:6

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. 10 For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! 11 Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? 12 And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.

Luke 6:22-23

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil. 36 Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.

Luke 6:35-36

Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— 13 each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.

1 Corinthians 3:12-15

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. 25 For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.

Colossians 3:23-25

For you had compassion on those in prison, and you joyfully accepted the plundering of your property, since you knew that you yourselves had a better possession and an abiding one. 35 Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.

Hebrews 10:34-36

He considered the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking to the reward. 27 By faith he left Egypt, not being afraid of the anger of the king, for he endured as seeing him who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and sprinkled the blood, so that the Destroyer of the firstborn might not touch them.

Hebrews 11:26-28

Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. 9 Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

He said to him, I will condemn you with your own words, you wicked servant! You knew that I was a severe man, taking what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow?

Luke 19:22

Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you.

Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?

Matthew 6:26-27

Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds! 25 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?

Luke 12:24-25

Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work. 35 Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest. 36 Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together. 37 For here the saying holds true, One sows and another reaps.’ 38 I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.”

John 4:34-38

For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— 12 that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine. 13 I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I have often intended to come to you (but thus far have been prevented), in order that I may reap some harvest among you as well as among the rest of the Gentiles.

Romans 1:11-13

Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop. 11 If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you? 12 If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we even more?

1 Corinthians 9:10-12

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7

Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Galatians 6:7-10

And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.” 16 So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was reaped.

And he said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you. 25 For to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

Jeremiah 23:3-4

I will surely assemble all of you, O Jacob; I will gather the remnant of Israel; I will set them together like sheep in a fold, like a flock in its pasture,
a noisy multitude of men. 13 He who opens the breach goes up before them; they break through and pass the gate, going out by it.
Their king passes on before them, the Lord at their head.

Love! Love! Love! When we remember to show love, kindness and compassion to those less privileged than us and to share our resources with them, then we can make their lives richer.

9.) Your most interesting book?

The Holy Bible! I love how inspirational, uplifting, informative, wise, knowledgeable the Bible is. It’s definitely the manual for life.

10.) What is the meaning of friendship for you?

Friendship is sharing! It’s sharing the good, bad and ugly!

11.) What means for you: “Man know thyself”?

This statement speaks of self-awareness to me. Self-awareness or as others call it, enlightenment is a very important step in helping a person improve their situation and become a better version of him/herself.
