Are You A Formula One Car Or An El Camino Car – Faith-in-jesus-christ/">Faith In Jesus Christ.

What is your Faith built for? What is your spirituality made of? Are you constructed like the Formula One Car or are you designed like the El Camino?

Chevrolet manufactured the first Chevrolet El Camino cars between 1958 and 1960. The company designed the El Camino cars to be a Coupe utility or pickup vehicle. Convenient and Stylish. But after various designs, generations and changes, car production finally stopped in 1987.

While esthetically tasteful, looking at an El Camino vehicle, it’s tough to tell whether it’s a truck or car due to its ambiguous construction.

However, everyone knows Formula One cars are constructed for competition and to win races. There is no doubt where they stand or what they are built for. This might also explain why the models and engineering keeps getting better every year that the various teams that compete in the Formula One races keep constructing the cars.

And that brings us to the Matter of Faith and belief. What kind of belief system do you hold? What is your Faith made for? When people speak to you and interact with you, are they able to immediately identify you as a Child of God who loves Jesus or do they have doubts, not sure about your Faith?

Are you Hot, Cold or Lukewarm? Are you a Truck, a Race Car or a Bus? Can we tell what you are built for?

I pray that you are not Lukewarm and have a stand. For the scriptures say:

“So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” Revelation 3:16

Be a focused Christian who is working his/her faith and using your spiritual gifts for the Kingdom of God. When your life is examined by God and people let there be no doubt what team you are racing for. And everyday,  run the race set before you with faithfulness, diligence and dedication.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:13

I pray at the end, after you have run the course set before you, after you have raced, after you have fought you too can confidently speak like Apostle Paul saying:

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.”

2 Timothy 4:7-8
